Frequently asked questions
A few answers before you arrive.
Practical information about sessions, preparation, booking and training.

01What is the BodyMind method?
BodyMind is the method developed by Ana Paula Rodrigues to bring together Thai therapeutic techniques, attentive listening and individual guidance. It approaches body, mind and emotions as parts of one experience.
02How is a session personalised?
Each encounter begins by listening to the person’s present moment, needs and boundaries. Rhythm, techniques and intensity are then adapted rather than following the same sequence for everyone.
03What makes Signals Spa different from a conventional massage experience?
Signals Spa combines technical experience, Thai tradition and a person-centred therapeutic relationship. The aim is not a standardised treatment, but care that feels safe, welcoming and appropriate to each client’s moment.
04Who provides the sessions?
Sessions are provided by Ana Paula Rodrigues, a holistic therapist specialising in Thai therapeutic techniques, creator of the BodyMind method and founder of Signals Spa nine years ago.
05Does a session replace medical or psychological care?
No. Signals Spa experiences support wellbeing and complementary therapeutic guidance. They do not replace diagnosis, medical treatment, physiotherapy or psychological care.
06Does Signals Spa also offer professional training?
Yes. The training programme is intended for new professionals who want to develop technical foundations, presence, listening and a responsible body-care practice. Formats and upcoming groups are published on the courses page.
07What does Ana Paula’s role as a CTT Teacher at CIMS Thai Spa Massage School mean?
It forms part of Ana Paula’s international work teaching Thai therapeutic techniques. The applicable affiliation, format and certification will be stated clearly for each training programme.
08How can I receive information about courses and upcoming groups?
Visit the courses area and join the interest list. Signals Spa will share the format, language, location, duration, prerequisites, curriculum and certification once each group is confirmed.
